What are bespoke wardrobes?
Bespoke wardrobes are designed and built to the room's exact measurements instead of starting from ready-made standard modules. This means the whole space can be used — including sloping walls, high ceilings, alcoves or awkward rooms. The result is a wardrobe that feels integrated into the home and adapted to your clothes, shoes and daily routines.
What do bespoke wardrobes cost in Stockholm?
The price depends on size, materials, doors, interior fittings, lighting and how much needs to be made to measure. A simple wardrobe solution costs less than a larger walk-in closet with drawers, LED lighting and custom details. At Smart Design we start with a free consultation and then prepare a quote based on your home and your needs.
What is the difference between made-to-measure and bespoke storage?
Made-to-measure storage is adapted to the room's dimensions but can still be based on ready-made systems. Bespoke storage goes further and is designed more freely around the room's architecture, function and expression. It's often the best choice when you want a solution that looks like a natural part of the home.
Can you build walk-in closets?
Yes, we design and build walk-in closets for both smaller and larger spaces. We plan hanging space, drawers, shelves, shoe storage, mirrors and lighting so the storage works in practice while achieving an exclusive expression. The solution is adapted to your garments, the room's dimensions and how you want to use the space every day.
Can bespoke storage be built in sloping or difficult spaces?
Yes, that's one of the biggest advantages of bespoke storage. We can create wardrobes, cabinets and shelving systems for sloping ceilings, hallways, bedrooms, attic apartments and other spaces where standard solutions often leave unused space. The goal is to use every centimetre without compromising the feel of the room.
